Help turn empty apartments into homes that support dignity, recovery, stability, and long-term sustainability.
Bridging AZ works with social service agencies that take a holistic approach to homelessness, helping clients move from empty apartments to stable homes with essential furniture and household goods that support dignity, recovery, and long-term sustainability.
People with mental and physical disabilities who were previously homeless, through approved social service agencies and caseworkers. Bridging AZ is not open to the general public and is not seeking more clients.
420,000+ items distributed throughout Arizona since 2004. 20+ years serving Arizona communities. Agency-based service through social-service partners statewide. Arizona QCO Code 20357. Historical impact: 1,500+ apartments furnished for previously homeless veterans in the past five years.
Founded in 2004, Bridging AZ was built around the conviction that furniture can change lives. Founder Jim Piscopo is a U.S. military veteran.
